Oscar H. is a drummer, composer and producer based in New York City. A graduate of the prestigious Jazz Program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, he has spent the past decade performing, recording and collaborating internationally across a wide range of musical styles.

As a session and touring musician he has worked with artists including The Drums, Kirin J Callinan, The Teskey Brothers, Marlon Williams, Indigo Sparke, Samantha Urbani (Friends), Malice K, Clews, Setwun and Allysha Joy (30/70).
Alongside performing, Oscar is active in New York’s improvised and experimental music scene, working with both acoustic drums and electronic instruments including Ableton Live and the Roland SPD-SX.
His teaching focuses on building strong musical foundations — including technique, groove, coordination and creative playing — while helping students develop confidence and musical curiosity behind the drum kit.
Lessons are available for beginners through advanced players, both in-person in New York City and online.
