I hold a bachelor’s degree in English and Rhetorics and am currently completing a master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus on Higher Education Administration. My academic background allows me to support students in writing, reading comprehension, and critical thinking. I have extensive experience helping students strengthen essays, research papers, and college-level writing by breaking down complex ideas and guiding them toward clear, well-structured arguments.

I have over four years of tutoring and teaching experience working with students from pre-K through college. I have taught in after-school programs at New York City schools and worked privately with students in one-on-one tutoring settings. In these roles, I have helped younger students build strong reading and writing foundations while supporting middle school, high school, and college students with essays, homework, and research assignments. Working with students across different ages has helped me develop a flexible teaching style that adapts to each student’s learning needs.

My tutoring approach focuses on helping students truly understand the material rather than simply memorize it. I guide students through thoughtful questions that encourage deeper thinking and break complex topics into manageable steps so they can approach their work with confidence. I also offer proofreading, editing, and feedback for academic essays, research papers, and college or graduate school application materials, including personal statements. Because I work in higher education, I especially enjoy helping students strengthen their writing and build the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.
