I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and have always had a strong appreciation for language, reading, and learning. Growing up, I studied basic Spanish and later focused on Liberal Arts in high school with a minor in English. Over the years I developed a deep interest in grammar, communication, and the power of understanding written material clearly and effectively. I believe that learning should feel engaging, not intimidating, and I enjoy helping students build confidence as they improve their skills.
Much of my professional experience involves freelance paralegal work, which requires extensive reading, careful analysis, and summarizing complex information. This work strengthened my ability to break down complicated ideas into clear and simple explanations—an approach that translates very well into tutoring. I enjoy helping students understand grammar, reading comprehension, and writing by making the material approachable and practical.
I’m a naturally positive, outgoing, and slightly quirky person who enjoys making education enjoyable. I’m passionate about history, science fiction, constitutional law, and international law, and I often bring real-world examples and interesting topics into learning sessions to keep students engaged. My goal is always to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas.
I look forward to helping students strengthen their understanding, build confidence, and discover that learning can actually be fun.
