I am currently composition and music theory faculty at Montclair State University, and music theory faculty at Third Street Music Settlement in New York City. One of the great benefits of these two current positions is that I get to work with a wide range of students, from aged 7-22, and over the course of more than 8 years of teaching experience I have learned to tailor my teaching approach to age, skill level, and a student's particular learning style. I find a lot of pleasure in passing on my knowledge to students, just as all of my teachers have for me!
I have taught students in a number of different contexts, including one on one, large and small classroom settings of all ages, and online on zoom. Please get in touch with any questions, and let me know how I can help you!
