Science finally making sense — that's been my mission for 20 years, and I've had to earn that in some tough rooms.
I started in pharmaceutical sales, where my job was explaining complex clinical science to doctors. There I learned credibility required clarity, accuracy and empathy. Six years of that also teaches you how to read your audience fast and get to the point. I didn't know it then, but I was becoming a teacher.
Next I made it official. I got certified in Georgia — Science and Math — and walked into one of the state's lowest-performing inner city schools. No easy crowd. For the past six years I've been wellness coaching, helping adults of all ages understand how biochemistry, beliefs and behaviors show up and influence their quality of life.
My degree is in Biology and Chemistry. I'm NBHWC certified and previously held Georgia state certification in both Science and Math. I've taught middle schoolers, high schoolers, college students, and medical professionals — in classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one online.
I don't do memorization drills. I find the angle that makes it click for you specifically, and we build from there.
