I am currently a Computer Science student completing my bachelor’s degree, with an academic background that includes both computer science and psychology. My coursework and projects focus heavily on Python programming, core computer science concepts, algorithms, and problem solving, and I also have experience working in a computational neuroscience research setting that required clear technical communication and careful explanation of complex ideas. Through my studies, I have developed a strong understanding of how students learn technical material and where common points of confusion tend to arise.

My experience with tutoring has primarily been one-on-one, working with people who needed help understanding Python, debugging code, and breaking down logical concepts into manageable steps. In this setting, I will focus on guiding you through the reasoning process rather than simply giving answers, helping you build confidence and independence. I typically work with college-level or late high school–level students, but I am comfortable adjusting my approach based on the student’s age, background, and goals.

I am very patient and student-centered with my tutoring approach. I start by identifying what the you already understand, and then I will explain new concepts using clear examples and step-by-step reasoning. I emphasize problem-solving strategies, conceptual understanding, and practical application, especially for programming and math-related subjects. My goal is always to help you feel more confident and leave each tutoring session with knowledge you can apply on your own.
