I’m a current student at Pratt institute with a focus in painting/print making. I’ve previously honed my artistic skills at the prestigious George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology in MD. Additionally I worked as a teaching assistant for classes at said high school and outside, assisting foundation art classes at Zoll Studio for Fine Arts.
During my time at zoll studios I assisted teaching kids ages 7-15 helping kids grasps the concept of light and shadow, color theory, proportions, composition, and narrative development. I consider myself an adaptable teacher, my strength being pushing my students to learn complex concepts while also helping my students figure out what teaching style and teqniqe will help them sucseed the most.
My art has lead me to reviving multiple accolades. I've received a variety of gold and silver Scholastics art and writing awards, a score of 5/5 on both my AP drawing and painting and 2D design portfolios, a spot at BMA for the 2024 “art if for everyone” show, and I am the winner of “Best Painting” for the Baltimore county public high school Art exhibition.
My artistic skill, teaching experience, and current enrollment at Pratt Institute gives me the tools necessary to help those elevate their art to the next level, I look forward to meeting with you :)
