I am an Italian language teacher with a master’s degree in Italian Studies and New York State teaching certification. I have been teaching Italian for nearly twenty years in a variety of educational settings, including colleges, language schools, community organizations, and private instruction. My academic training and certification provide a strong foundation in both the Italian language and effective teaching methodology, particularly for beginner and early-intermediate learners.
Throughout my career, I have taught Italian to a wide range of students, including high school students, college students, seniors, and adult learners. My teaching experience includes classroom instruction, small group courses, and extensive one-to-one tutoring. I customize each lesson based on the student’s goals, pace, and interests, whether they are learning Italian for travel, personal enrichment, or long-standing interest. I offer both remote and in-person instruction and strive to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable progressing at their own speed.
