Hi, I’m Ahmi. I tutor the LSAT, SAT (Reading, Writing & Math), writing, and college/law school admissions. I’m a prospective law student who understands what it’s like to struggle with standardized tests — on my first official LSAT, I scored in the 39th percentile before eventually reaching the 93rd. That experience shapes how I teach: clear explanations, consistent habits, and a calm, structured approach.
For the SAT, I help students understand patterns in Reading and Writing and build confidence in Math by breaking problems into simple steps. I also enjoy helping students of all ages, including younger learners, strengthen their writing and math skills, and craft essays that are clear, organized, and authentic.
I come from a family of teachers and have worked with students across age groups, which makes communicating concepts feel natural to me. I’ve also proctored the SAT for years, so I understand not just the content but the rhythm and pressure of test day. Students describe me as patient, direct, and easy to learn from. I focus on making concepts click in a way that actually sticks, so you leave each session feeling capable, confident, and ready to tackle the next challenge.
