I hold a B.A. from Columbia University in German Studies and Education, and my teaching experience spans a wide range of ages, settings, and subject areas. I’ve taught ESOL to adult immigrants for three years, worked as a German teacher for middle schoolers for a semester, supported first graders as a teacher’s aide for a year, taught middle school English for a semester, and spent six months in a preschool classroom. Altogether, I’ve worked with learners ages 2 to 78 and truly enjoy adapting my approach to meet each student’s needs.
Whether in a full classroom, small group, or one-on-one setting, I’m comfortable creating lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to the learner’s goals. I was recently accepted into an Ed.M program at Rutgers and am seeking tutoring opportunities to continue refining my teaching skills while helping students grow in confidence and ability. I’m excited to bring patience, structure, and enthusiasm to every session and to support learners of any age on their academic journey.
