I'm Kenny! As a New York City native, I went through the ordeal of standardized testing before my admission into Stuyvesant High School and college testing before NYU Stern. Despite considering myself an average student, I managed to achieve a 620 in the SHSAT and 1570 (out of 1600) in the SAT with a perfect score in math. After tutoring students, including my three younger siblings, I realized that preparation for standardized tests shouldn't be so agonizing! Each student has unique strengths and their own way of learning. I specialize in individualized tutoring and learning about my students to find the most efficient ways to improve based on how they learn the best. From my tutoring experience, I've learned common challenges from test-takers and strategies to address them - including time management and focusing techniques.
High school and college processes have changed in many ways since I attended school, so I want to share my experiences and help students achieve their goals.
