My ability to teach technical concepts is grounded in a unique blend of formal training and educational experience. I hold a B.A. in Philosophy, which laid the foundation for my expertise in critical thinking, logical decomposition, and systematic problem analysis. These foundational skills are skills I apply directly to coding and data architecture. This is supplemented by intensive training from a Full-Stack Development Bootcamp and verifiable Data Analytics Certifications (Google/DataCamp), demonstrating practical command of Python, SQL, and the modern development workflow.

I also have professional teaching experience, including a period instructing at the Uncommon Excellence boys elementary school. This background is central to my "Logic-First" tutoring method, as it proves my ability to manage a learning environment, communicate complex instructions clearly, and guide students (ranging from early childhood education to degree holding adults) through challenging material. I don't believe that challenging material exists in the ether or "assignments", but rather real world project building and problem solving that is personally impacting. In my latest project providing a data pipeline using Azure's OCR parser, I felt extremely rewarded from the practical output I was able to provide. I hope to impart the skills needed for all my students to reach a similar realization. My main goal is to teach students how to think about a problem, ensuring they build durable skills for the real world.

Data Analysis

My expertise in Data Analytics is rooted in a structured, logic-first approach honed by my background in Philosophy and reinforced by specialized certifications (Google/DataCamp). I am proficient in the full data lifecycle, from initial SQL querying and database management to advanced Python scripting (Pandas) for complex cleaning, transformation, and statistical analysis. I guide students in designing reliable data pipelines and translating raw datasets into compelling visualizations and actionable insights, preparing them to tackle real-world business challenges. This background ensures my students master not just the tools, but the critical thinking required to excel as a modern data analyst.
