I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Universidad de Salamanca, a Master’s in Sexual and Reproductive Health Education (Teaching and Counseling) from Universidad Camilo José Cela, and a Teaching Master’s Degree in Social Sciences with IB Diploma Certification from Universidad de Navarra.
Over the past several years, I’ve taught a wide range of subjects — including Spanish, Global History, Health, and Social Studies — to students between the ages of 4 and 18 across Spain, the U.K., Canada, and the United States. My classroom experience spans K–2 language instruction, middle school immersion programs, and high school humanities, both in traditional and neurodiverse settings.
My teaching approach integrates executive functioning strategies, social-emotional learning, and multisensory methods. I have formal training in the Hochman Writing Method, Project-Based Learning, Responsive Classroom, and Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) frameworks. I’m especially skilled in designing lessons that meet a variety of learning styles and developmental needs, whether in one-on-one tutoring or classroom settings.
I’ve worked at institutions such as Prospect Schools and The Quad Preparatory School in New York City, where I taught both general education and special education students, collaborating closely with occupational therapists, learning specialists, and counselors. My previous experience also includes leading Health and Sexual Diversity programs for adolescents in Spain and supporting language acquisition and enrichment programs through English immersion camps.
Altogether, I bring over four years of classroom teaching experience and a deep passion for creating inclusive, creative, and developmentally supportive learning spaces where students can thrive both academically and emotionally.
