Bio

I received my BFA & BArch with honors from RISD in 2021. Currently based in Brooklyn, I’ve taught AP Studio Art and foundations courses, helping students develop strong portfolios and gain admission with merit scholarships to top programs like Yale, MICA, and Boston University, often with scholarships.

I meet students at their level, model techniques, and build confidence so they can grow as artists. I specialize in portfolio preparation for high school and college admissions, but also enjoy working with learners of all ages. I'm particularly excited to help students:
-Build portfolios for high school and college admission
-Develop strong fine art skills, including perspective drawing, painting, printmaking, and ceramics
-Master new software such as Adobe Creative Suite and assorted 3d modeling softwares
-Learn architectural design, drafting, and modeling

Emphasized hands-on practice and technical skill development to strengthen students’ drawing abilities.

I taught six sections of 15–30 students in introductory through advanced visual art classes, including AP Studio Art, and co-led the Art & Design Club. I developed original curriculum covering color theory, underpainting, plein-air painting, portraiture, and styles including Impressionism, abstraction, and still life. I have provided step-by-step instruction in painting techniques while guiding students in analyzing and applying artistic styles. Emphasized mastery of technical skills alongside exploration of individual artistic approaches.

Wonderful art tutor!

Noah has been working with us on drawing projects and Pokémon. He is very patient and great at explaining how to draw the various pokemon and includes differering techniques like crosshatching, shading, etc.
