Private Equity, and Climate Finance — Lesson from a Yale MBA

I hold two master’s degrees from Yale University — an MBA with a focus on finance and strategy, and a master’s in environmental management with a focus on energy economics. I also earned my bachelor’s degree in Physics and Italian from Duke University. My academic training gives me both the technical foundation and practical frameworks to explain finance, economics, and business concepts in a way that’s rigorous yet easy to understand.

I have several years of experience mentoring, training, and tutoring peers, junior colleagues, and students in finance, economics, and business strategy. My approach is highly interactive: I focus first on clarifying core concepts, then reinforce learning through real-world examples, and finally apply knowledge to practice problems or case studies. I use a blend of structured lessons and adaptive problem-solving so that students walk away with both understanding and confidence.

In addition to tutoring students, I draw on over a decade of professional experience in finance, private equity, and climate/renewable energy investing, having led and invested well over $1 B. I have trained and mentored junior colleagues in financial modeling, investment analysis, and deal structuring — often guiding them through Excel-based project models, valuation exercises, and presentation skills. I have also led workshops for early-career professionals and MBA interns, helping them translate academic knowledge into real-world applications. My teaching spans one-on-one coaching, small group settings, and professional training environments, with a focus on practical skills and confidence-building.
