I've been told on several occasions that I have the gift of patience, but I think it comes more from my own interest in the complexities of each individual person. There is nothing like the satisfaction of being able to witness someone's excitement when a skill finally clicks or a discovery is made, or a problem is solved. While my degree is in Literature and Anthropology, I have taken several Science courses - mainly in the anatomy and physiology realm, and teaching elementary has made me well versed in k-8 math and social sciences.
