I am a graduate of Stuyvesant High School, one of the most academically rigorous schools in New York City, where I earned a 1540 on the SAT, including an 800 in the Math section. At Stuyvesant, I pursued a challenging STEM-focused curriculum and earned 5s on AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, and AP Computer Science A. I also completed several advanced post-AP electives such as Cybersecurity, Software Development, and Organic Chemistry, performing at a high level in all. Outside the classroom, I’ve developed full-stack web applications using both frontend and backend frameworks, including projects in AI and machine learning.
My tutoring experience began with preparing middle school students for the SHSAT, where I focused on building strong foundations in math and logical reasoning. I emphasize true understanding over memorization, helping students connect ideas and apply concepts in creative ways. My approach centers on patient, one-on-one instruction, tailored to each student’s pace and needs. I’ve primarily worked with students in grades 7 through 12, across subjects including math, computer science, and exam prep. My goal is always to guide students toward their “aha” moments (the best part of learning in my opinion). That spark of clarity makes learning both fun and memorable.
