I hold multiple active New York State teaching licenses, including Special Education K–12, Biology 7–12, and am currently pursuing additional certification in Math 5–9. I have over 13 years of experience working with students across public, private, and nonprofit educational settings.
My teaching journey includes classroom instruction in science (General sciences, Biology, Earth Science and Forensics) at the middle and high school level, as well as K–8 special education in both inclusion and self-contained settings. I’ve also served as a home instruction teacher with the NYC Department of Education, providing one-on-one academic support in students' homes or agreed-upon locations. These sessions included early literacy for elementary students, as well as subject-specific support for English Language Learners (ELLs), students with IEPs, and students with medical or emotional needs requiring instruction outside of a traditional school setting.
In recent years, I’ve taken on school leadership roles, including serving as the founding principal of a K–6 private school where I coached teachers, designed academic interventions, and led schoolwide instructional systems. My approach to tutoring is student-centered and strengths-based, combining content expertise with strategies tailored to how each student learns best. I focus on building confidence, critical thinking skills, and long-term academic growth—whether I’m supporting test prep, class content, or foundational skill-building.
