I’m a recent graduate from Tulane University with a degree in Sociology and specializations in Spanish and Business. I’m currently continuing my education through NYU’s Data Analytics certification program. Over the past four years, I’ve worked as a tutor and in various childcare settings, supporting students from ages 5 to 14 through both one-on-one and small group formats.
My tutoring experience includes volunteer work with middle schoolers during college, as well as current one-on-one sessions with early elementary students. I’ve supported learners across a range of subjects and learning styles, including students with ADHD and other attention-related challenges. These experiences have taught me how to meet students where they are, whether that means helping them stay focused, build confidence, or approach material in a way that makes sense for them.
I’m especially skilled at breaking down complex assignments into manageable steps, offering structure and support while keeping sessions positive and encouraging. My approach is flexible, responsive, and always tailored to a student’s age, personality, and pace of learning. More than anything, I aim to help students feel seen, capable, and motivated to learn and grow.
