I am a highly qualified science educator with extensive experience teaching various subjects, including General Science, AP Biology, Forensic Science, Living Environment, and Computer Science in public high school settings. I am a huge advocate of STEAM education, I hold a Master’s degree in Adolescent Education from Pace University and a Master’s degree in Forensic Science from Syracuse University, along with New York State certification to teach Biology for grades 7-12. My teaching background includes designing and implementing engaging lesson plans for diverse student groups, as well as creating individualized tutoring sessions that cater to different learning styles. I have taught students ranging from 5th to 12th grade, both in classroom settings and one-on-one tutoring environments, and I am adept at tailoring instruction to meet the needs of students, including those with special needs, ASD, and multilingual learners. Additionally, I have volunteered as a mentor and advisor, helping students develop their academic and career skills. This combination of formal education, hands-on teaching experience, and mentorship roles enables me to provide an impactful, personalized tutoring to students in a variety of science and math disciplines.
