Hi there! I recently graduated magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College, where I received my Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Comparative Religion and earned a 3.8 GPA. I scored 32 on the ACT, with 34 and 35 respectively on the Reading and English sections, as well as 11/12 on the essay. I have several years of experience in tutoring a wide variety of subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, and Biology, but my favorite subjects to tutor are English, Social Studies, and History. I have both classroom and one-on-one tutoring experience. I love the process of forming a personal bond with a student and helping them figure out the most effective ways for them to learn. I am passionate about education and am always trying to learn something new.

Seeing a student flourish and begin to feel comfortable with a subject is the best part of tutoring. My process always involves lots of checking for understanding, asking the student to analyze different topics, and using what is relevant to my student and their life to help them learn the subject.
