Hello, I'm Mansur! I am a recent graduate from New York University holding a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Starting from my high school years, I've established a strong foundation in mathematics with the NYS Advanced Regents Curriculum followed by the AP Calculus BC course my senior year. Scoring a 5 on the AP exam and getting a near perfect 790 on the SAT math section motivated me to pursue mathematics as both, my interest, and expertise when I declared the major in my first year of undergrad. With the diverse yet vigorous courses that constituted the major requirements and electives, I challenged myself to view and learn the material using holistic, analytical, and open-minded approaches that allowed me to succeed. I believe that these methods aided my learning by making the topics more practical and enjoyable to the human mind. Encouraging my students to practice these same methods through my tailored teaching manner thus allows the knowledge to be gained in a more efficient manner.

My tutoring experience includes 4 years of tutoring small classes of 3-7 students and one-to-one lessons at local-private tutoring centers in New York City and Ontario, Canada. Within just a year of tutoring SAT Math topics and focusing on test specific preparation, I've had students improving their scores up to 140 points and scoring within the 94th percentile on their exams. Now entering my fifth year as a tutor with both online and in-person experience across multiple grade levels and topics, I would like to connect with more parents and students that are eager to improve test scores or reinforce topics from school-related coursework.
