I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Coordination Chemistry and Electrochemistry) from the UC San Diego/San Diego State University Joint Doctoral Program. My students have gone on to top Ph.D. programs such as UPenn and the Instituto Catalán de Investigación Química (ICIQ) in Spain. My favorite part of graduate school was watching my mentees become independent, confident scientists.
