Hi, my name is Isoken and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in Law & Policy from Yale University, along with a certificates in Education Studies and Spanish. My educational background has provided me with a strong foundation in critical thinking, research, and teaching methodologies, which I have applied extensively in my tutoring and teaching roles.

I have been tutoring students of all ages for several years, tailoring my approach to meet each learner’s unique needs and goals. My experience includes one-on-one tutoring for the SAT, ACT, and LSAT, where I create personalized lesson plans based on diagnostic assessments and student progress. My methods emphasize foundational content mastery, test-taking strategies, and confidence-building, which have led to significant score increases for my students! In addition, I have worked as a Reading Specialist Assistant in a public school, where I provided targeted interventions to elementary students reading below grade level. This role required collaboration with teachers and families, as well as the ability to adapt lessons to suit diverse learning styles.

Beyond standardized test prep, I have also taught academic subjects such as English, history, and government to middle and high school students.
