I bring more than 35 years of real-world experience in business, logistics, sales, leadership, consulting, entrepreneurship, and professional development, along with a B.A. and MBA. I have also spent years mentoring, coaching, and tutoring students and professionals one-on-one, including middle school, high school, college, and adult learners. I work across subjects including English, writing, history, geography, business, marketing, Microsoft applications, public speaking, interview preparation, career development, study skills, and technology.

My teaching style is highly personalized. I do not simply give students answers or tell them what to do. I talk through problems with them, ask questions, explain concepts in practical terms, and adapt the lesson to how they learn best. I often use summaries, timelines, study guides, practice questions, visual and audio materials, real-world examples, and step-by-step instruction to make difficult material easier to understand and retain. I also help students prepare for quizzes, tests, presentations, interviews, assignments, and long-term academic or professional goals.

I also work with students and professionals who want to learn modern AI tools and AI-assisted building, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Codex, Claude Code, Lovable, vibe coding, application building, and AI-assisted content creation. Whether the goal is improving a grade, preparing for an important opportunity, developing professional skills, or learning how to build something new, I tailor each session to the individual and focus on practical skills they can continue using independently.

Great Marketing Mentor

I had a great experience working with Digby as a marketing mentor. He brings a unique combination of marketing knowledge, business experience, and practical insight into AI and automation. What I appreciated most was how willing he was to share his methods, tools, and real world strategies rather than just giving general advice. He introduced me to new ways of thinking about content creation, automation, personal branding, and building additional income streams. Digby is also very approachable and encourages collaboration, questions, and idea sharing throughout the mentorship. I’ve already taken away several ideas that I can apply to my current marketing role and long term career goals. I highly recommend Digby to anyone looking to improve their marketing skills, learn how to leverage AI, and develop a more strategic approach to growing a business.

Insightful and a patient tutor

Working with Digby not only helped me improve my learning but also exceeded my expectations with the possibilities of AI. He was kind and patient enough to show me how I could use AI to sell to clients/businesses. I really enjoyed his generosity as he was not only kind enough to give me a free referral link but also an extra half hour. Finding a tutor as dedicated, supportive, and genuinely interested in their student's success is extremely rare. I can't recommend Digby enough to anyone looking to expand their skills and learn how to practicalize AI for real-world business.

Excellent Tutor for College Business Students

Digby has been assisting my son with his college business management course and has greatly improved my son's confidence and understanding of the material, which the school's professor and TA have not been able to do. I highly recommend Digby for any struggling college students majoring in business.

Great for explaining complex examples, timely and extremely knowledgeable

Digby helped me with a couple projects that were overcomplicated. We discussed 5S and VSMs and he was able to put them into terms I could understand, as someone with learning disabilities. He was very understanding and accommodating and went above and beyond. I was able to get a perfect score on my VSM project. The 5S project (my very last assignment of the class) hasn't been graded yet, but I was really confident turning it in. This was my last class for my supply chain and logistics certification. I'd definitely recommend Digby!

After the session, he provided helpful guidance on the next steps to take, which gave me a clear path forward. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dedicated and effective tutor!"

My Hero! Digby is amazing!

I needed help creating invitations for artists to enter work in a large group exhibition. RSVP, entry forms and photo submissions were needed. Digby helped me refine the project into a simple contact format with participant tracking. He is a friendly, patient and passionate tutor who clearly loves teaching. He is an intuitive guide who is easy to connect with. Sometimes I am not the most digitally savvy but Digby helped me climb out of my digital hole.
