After beginning my BFA at NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music in the fall of 2014, I taught voice lessons independently and worked for the America Reads and Counts Program as an in-classroom tutor for 6th grade classes. By sophomore year, I transitioned away from teaching voice lessons, and began focusing on mastering Pro Tools, Logic Pro, vocal production, and capturing beautiful audio. In 2016 I began taking recording clients with my business partner as the duo Woofer + Tweeter, alongside a variety of jobs and engineering gigs until I moved from New York back to the Dallas area in order to take care of my mom in 2021.

In 2021, I began tutoring students in 5th through 11th grade in the following areas: homework and time management, ELA through AP English, history including APUSH, APHUG, and APMWH, math up to pre-calc, science up to physics and including APES, test prep, and SAT and ACT prep. Every student benefits from a unique approach that meets them where they are at, but a my typical starting point for an area like homework management includes working with the student to find out what organizational methods work best for them (what are they actually going to look at, what are they actually going to use, etc) and then working together to make a study plan. From there, I follow through and help teach them accountability by checking in on the implementation of the study plan and helping them overcome roadblocks as they appear.

When I moved back to New York in 2024, I began taking students and clients in audio production again and am over the moon to be working at this intersection of education and audio artistry. I specialize in working with artists and students who are interested in understanding Pro Tools and Logic Pro better so they can optimize their at-home workflows and focus on making music faster. This can include signal flow and recording, signal processing, mixing, mastering, and developing a music creation process that matches their interests and needs.
