My name is Dan P., and I'm an actor/musician based in New York who's available to tutor both cello, piano, and acting performance. I've worked as a professional actor and musician since I was a teenager, and graduated with a degree in Acting performance from the University of Minnesota Guthrie BFA Actor Training program. I specialize in theatrical acting with a Shakespearean background. My cello experience ranges from playing in small ensembles to symphony orchestras. I've spent the last few years acting and playing the cello on and off-Broadway in New York in such productions as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and A Christmas Carol.
I'm interested in helping students grow by helping them find and focus their passion for music into tangible skills and tools to set them up for success. I can help students learn basic skills with a variety of instruments, and help them harness these skills to accomplish any goals they have. Wether they're trying to learn for fun, or with a specific goal in mind, I'd love to help them succeed.
