Hi! I’m Jack. I graduated with interdepartmental honors from Vassar College with a degree in Biochemistry. I was also inducted into Sigma Xi, a research honor society. While at college, I focused my education primarily on synthetic and advanced organic chemistry, while focusing on fundamental biochemistry. I have spent hours in different laboratories performing and creating experiments in all three of these disciplines. I also have experience in clinical research affiliated with Harvard University, where I applied hard scientific concepts to treating real patients.
I have hours of experience tutoring at the high school level, and have a strong command of the material. Nevertheless, I am passionate about the upper level sciences and am confident I can help anyone reach their goals. I utilize a student-centered approach where I tailor each lesson to the individual needs and requirements of each student.
Above all, I am a laid-back individual who understands the frustrating nature of these classes. Because of this, I foster an stress-free learning environment where mistakes can be made, questions can be asked, and learning is paramount. I believe I can help anyone reach their goals!
