With about a decade of teaching and tutoring experience, I have taught all high school math subjects from Pre-Algebra to Honors Geometry to AP Calculus including being a TA for graduate level math and science courses at a top university. My classrooms, despite coming in below grade level, often score the highest in the district by the end of the year, especially in Geometry.
I developed my school's curriculum from scratch, coached other teachers, and led standardized test grading for my district (with more than 100 teachers and tens of thousands of NYC students). I am proud to say that these same students have gone on to top universities including Ivy League institutions.
As a self-confessed, proud nerd, I was on my high school's Math team at a top NYC high school. I received a full college scholarship due to my Math achievements and having earned perfect scores on all college standardized testing including SAT and SAT II Math. I pursued a Mathematics major at a top university and graduated top of class in my teaching college, specializing in Math Education.
