I help my own peers on a regular basis with their work in Computer Science and have a lot of experience tutoring and teaching younger students as well. I am able to connect well with younger students who might feel more comfortable asking someone closer to their own age questions.

I have been a volunteer Teaching Instructor for the Girls Who Code program, teaching HTML/CSS/JS. The program involved teaching a classroom of high school to middle school students coding. I built their curriculum along with a handful of other Instructors and guided them to build their own projects. In addition, as a high school senior, I was employed by my school Stuyvesant High School to tutor my peers in several courses. I taught Python, Physics 1 and 2, and pre-calculus. In addition, I have tutored middle schoolers algebra 1 and 2 one-on-one.
I am always looking to both improve understanding and reduce the intimidation factor for subjects like math, physics, computer science. My goal to make my students comfortable approaching problems in the subject and familiar with what's required of them in standard problems in the subject.
