Hello! My name is Daniel de Leon and I am currently a first year medical student at SUNY Downstate COM 2027. Prior to this, I attended Saint John's University and graduated with a degree in biomedical sciences. After tutoring more than 50 students for more than 200 hours in my University’s tutoring system, both online and in person, I believe I am more than capable at tutoring in the subjects I have listed. Chemistry and biology are my favorite subjects!

Additionally, I have a lot of helpful tips if you are applying to medical school since that was basically my life for the past two years. I currently do application reviews for my clients, including personal statement revisions, secondary essay help, and help with any of the MCAT sections. My score breakdown is as follows:

My tutoring methods in the past was first reviewing the content if my student could provide it before the session. If not, then my knowledge in the subjects usually allowed me to tutor without an issue. I usually preferred to write out problems or with online tutoring, share my screen for writing out problems on Microsoft paint. I had a few students that found it easier to go through their powerpoints, slide by slide, as I answered whatever questions they may have had.
