ESL and French Teacher with 20+ Years of Experience

Hi! My name is Cami and I am an experienced ESL teacher. I started teaching ESL more than 20 years ago. I've taught in three language schools as well as online. Currently, I teach English to foreigners online. My students come from all over the world. It is fascinating to me to meet individuals from various cultures due to my teaching work. I'm comfortable working with all age groups, from kindergarteners to mature adults. I have a 120-hour TEFL certification to teach English to non-native speakers and most of my students have been such. However, I also have had experience teaching native speakers (mostly children) reading, writing and grammar.

I can help you with conversation, listening, vocabulary and/or grammar if you are a non-native speaker. For native speakers, I can enhance your vocabulary, reading, writing and/or grammar skills. I am patient and resourceful. I use different materials to stimulate student interest and help you progress. Learning English can be fun.

In addition, I can teach French to beginning and intermediate students. I have a bachelor's degree in French and have lived in France for one year as an exchange student. French pronunciation can be tricky to master and my French accent is excellent. So is my understanding of the language's grammar, so I can help with test preparations, homework, or just general speaking improvement. I have tutored elementary and high-school level students in French.
