Jimmy went over data cleaning with me. I knew the exact output but my code did not produce what i expected. Jimmy listened to my issues and walk me through another approach to solve my issue. I had a basic understanding when it came to C++ coding. Jimmy was able to break down each line and explain in detail om how ot works. He used a visual tool to help me watch on how the code works rather than just explaining it. This session really helped me understand on what I am writing and how to understand the code. When going over binary search trees Jimmy communicated effectively exactly what was needed to understand the concept. He even went further when describing how binary search works to explain the connections between program runtime as well as what logarithmic time complexity really means. Jimmy was really patient and able to answer any questions I had as well.

The best JavaScript tutor to date

I had a specific problem with implementing D3 data visualizations onto a data visualization tool, called Qlik. Coming from almost no JavaScript experience, Jimmy held my hand and walked me through the ins and outs of how to get D3 implemented within Qlik. A great tutor but a better teacher. I'd recommend Jimmy to anyone of all skill levels when it comes to JavaScript issues.
