Hello. Nice to meet you. My name is Beth, and I look forward to sharing what I know. I grew up traveling, and consuming media, writing and art, has been a source of deep solace. As a result, I've invested my time into studying history, philosophy, anthropology, and art. I describe my mind as a filing cabinet full of information. I'd like to hand that over to whoever's interested in learning from me!
I have published for multiple magazines and worked as an editor myself. I've done project management, directorship, curation, and research.
I was raised in museums, I studied art like scripture. I also got the opportunity to work at several museums. I worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as a curatorial intern. I worked as an art teacher at the Jewish Museum, where I offered children instruction in art making in conjunction to current exhibitions. At the Museum of Jewish Heritage, I lead tours around the museum to summer camp students K-12.
Beside institutional teaching, I've also tutored two 4th graders independently. I offered them instruction upon grammar, writing, and English. What I find valuable in teaching, is communicating information with clarity and concision. This method has been crafted through out my tutoring and educational roles throughout my life. Moreover, I have mentored two students on college prep, writing college essays, and how to make the most out of their college years.
Learning and rewiring our brain is one of the most critical forms of growth. I hope to assist you in such growth.
