Greetings! I am Nuhi. I first started tutoring when I was in Middle School. It started with community service work, and I soon realized that I had a growing passion to spread knowledge and connect with students. Starting from High School, I applied to work for a tutoring company, but I realized that the amount parents paid for their child or children to attend group tutoring sessions did not meet up to the demands of the service they requested. From there on, I decided to do one on one private tutoring, so that I can fully focus on the needs each and every student at a time. For each student, I create a profile with their strengths and weaknesses, and we work with that to get the student to where they should be. Through time, each and every single student I have worked with have improved significantly and have been on their way to receive stellar grades and go to great schools. That said, I have gained some demand in the field, and do request a book in advance so that I can ensure the proper allocation of time for the student's needs.
A little about my self: I attend Columbia University, an Ivy League school that is top in the nation and located right within New York City. I am studying in the computational field, with a specialization track in Artificial Intelligent Systems. I use Machine Learning Algorithms combined with Neural Networks with a focus on Human Computer Interaction to produce systems that will ultimately work for the benefit of humanity. One such project I am focusing on is the NAO bot, which is currently being wired to help kids with autism.
My expertise lies in the maths. I have mastered Algebra and taught that for years. Algebra is a must to build your foundation for later maths. I teach Algebra in a very insightful way, so that you don't just understand it on the surface, but you have a grasp for it internally as well.
