Working with them is one of my great joys. I have also been a writing, reading & literature tutor, a writing coach for adults, along with being a book editor. As an experienced language arts tutor and an author, I am attuned to the writing process and sensitive to the writing challenges of my students. I believe in focusing on vocabulary skills because they are at the very heart of our ability to communicate. I have developed my own system using art and the thesaurus to help build broader and richer vocabularies in my students.
I have also been a singer/songwriter, secondary school English teacher , and have acted in the theatre and in commercials when I lived in Greece.
