Hello, my name is Ryan! I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Manhattan College with a B.S. in biochemistry and a minor in Physics. During my undergraduate degree, I was also hired as a science peer tutor for Manhattan College's center of academic success. During my time there I was able to help many students from both represented and underrepresented backgrounds. My expertise in organic chemistry allowed me to lead group problem sessions for organic chemistry students. I use previous lesson plans coupled with Q/A in order to learn and reinforce the material discussed in your classes.
As I progress into my Ph.D. I would still like to continue my tutoring in order to help as many students as I can.
Having taken Calculus I, II, and III I have come to understand calculus in three dimensions. This understanding translates to physics problems as well as classical calculus classes.
My knowledge of Chemistry and Physics that has stemmed from my undergraduate degree has provided my admittance to a Ph.D. in the same field. I have won several awards for my academics in general chemistry through ACS, and have taken advanced courses in organic chemistry and biological sciences. My undergraduate research manuscript received an award from the Eastern Schools Science Conference.
