Hey, I’m S! I graduated from one of the top public high schools in NYC where I began my tutoring career. I continued on to Parsons School of Design and now have two kids of my own who teach me almost constantly that every child -and their learning style- is truly unique.

The reason why my method of teaching has been proven more successful than others is because I am enthusiastic, compassionate, and I understand the difficulties various students face based on my own recent experiences. I am not a college grad who whizzed through school with straight A's. I know how it feels to struggle hopelessly with a subject, and I know how to get through it.

Whether a student requires a FUN and INVENTIVE approach to grasp a concept or retains information with strict use of flash cards and worksheets, we will figure it out TOGETHER. Learning doesn’t have to be boring, tedious, or scary. I’ll show ya.

I specialize in geometry, however my knowledge extends to other areas of study such as elementary and middle school math, general writing, grammar, and beginner-level Spanish. I also offer to help students who have behavioral, mood, or attention issues -even if they just need motivation and support!
