Teaching is what I had been doing for the last 35 years or so. Many of my earliest students have become full professors teaching at many universities in North America, UK and Australia. When I look back at my teaching or when many of my past students seek me out or recognize me in seemingly odd places around the world, it gives me an immense sense of pride and satisfaction for having had a fully rewarding experience.
Perhaps the one thing that most of my students remember me for is my basic and simplistic approach to teaching: giving the students the basic essence of the subject matter that is being taught, that intuitive understanding that underlie any concepts and terms being explained or analyzed. Students who have been able to grasp this basic understanding have, as my years of experience have shown, not only been a successful teachers themselves but have excelled in other areas as well.
I simply want this tradition to continue even though this might be limited to a one-to-one teacher student ratio!
