I am a longtime adjunct professor at Marymount Manhattan College, on and off since 2003, where I have taught developmental math, introductory and intermediate algebra, and Introductory Statistics for business students. Specifically, I taught the last three of those this past semester and specialize in teaching artistically-minded liberal arts students who don't have an orientation or inclination towards math.
I have also taught Statistics and Data Analysis at FIT since 2024. I have an MA in Statistics from Columbia University and was also a political science minor as an undergraduate, hence my ability to tutor in that subject as well. I have also been a tutor for another platform as well as an in-person math/statistics tutor since the early 2000s. The age range of my students is from high school age to adult learners.
Additionally, I am also a longtime semi-professional writer for independent music publications such as The Big Takeover and Under the Radar, both of which I have contributed to since 2003 and 2015, respectively. Therefore, I am able to tutor students in popular/indie music history as well.
