Notre Dame Finance Major and Experienced Tutor in K-12 Learning

Hi! I am currently a student at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, where I am pursuing a BBA in Finance along with minors in Real Estate, Marketing, and Economic and Business History. My academic background is rooted in a high level of rigor, having graduated from my high school with a 4.7 GPA and served as the President of the National English Honor Society. My education has provided me with a strong command of both quantitative and qualitative subjects, which I leverage to provide comprehensive support to students at various stages of their academic journeys.

My tutoring experience spans across elementary, middle, and high school levels within my community, focusing on math, history, and English. At the elementary level, I serve as a volunteer teacher for the Riverbend Community Math Center, where I lead small-group math discussions for approximately 30 kindergarten students. For high school students, I serve as an Ambassador Intern for Girls With Impact, mentoring 9th through 12th graders on complex business and leadership concepts. These roles, combined with my leadership in organizations like the National English Honor Society and my studies in Economic and Business History, allow me to offer tailored instruction that meets the specific developmental needs of each age group.

My teaching philosophy is centered on building confidence through clarity and structured mentorship. Whether I am helping a young student grasp fundamental math principles or assisting a high schooler in analyzing historical trends or English literature, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment. I draw from my extensive experience in community outreach and project leadership to communicate complex ideas in a way that is accessible and inspiring. My goal is to help students not only master their current curriculum but also develop the critical thinking skills necessary for long-term academic success.
