Education is something I do not take lightly. It is a privilege that every child deserves access to. Teaching is more than a job for me; it is a passion. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child struggle, grow, and finally gain confidence as concepts begin to click. Their success genuinely brings me joy, and that joy is what has consistently led me into leadership and teaching roles.

Their success genuinely brings me joy, and that joy is what has consistently led me into leadership and teaching roles.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH). Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have gained extensive hands-on teaching experience across a wide range of ages and learning styles. During my undergraduate years, I served as a Diamond Peer Teacher, where I supported students through tutoring and office hours while also assisting professors with lesson planning. I later spent two years teaching STEM concepts to children ages 3–7 in an enrichment program, developing engaging, age-appropriate lessons that fostered curiosity and foundational learning.
In addition, I served as president of a student-led organization, where I planned and led weekly meetings; strengthening my leadership, organization, and communication skills. While completing my master’s degree, I worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching undergraduate students, planning lessons, grading coursework, and providing individualized academic support through tutoring and office hours. I have also worked closely with family members to help them overcome academic challenges, tailoring instruction to their specific needs at home so they perform their best in school.
Currently, I am an elementary school teacher, where I continue to apply my experience, patience, and passion to help students build confidence, master new skills, and develop a love for learning. I am dedicated to meeting each child where they are and helping them reach their full potential.
