I am currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Policy and Management at the City University of New York, where I have gained a strong academic foundation in communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. My educational background has prepared me to explain complex topics in clear, approachable ways, which is a skill I bring into every tutoring session. In addition to my coursework, I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to support a wider range of students and make learning more accessible.

I have experience working with students in both one-on-one and group settings, including time spent as a youth worker through the NYC Summer Youth Employment Program, where I supported children and teens with reading, writing, and study skills. I have also helped peers and classmates understand challenging concepts in subjects such as English, reading comprehension, and introductory psychology. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s needs — I focus on building confidence and breaking down information into simple, understandable steps.

Through these experiences, I have learned how to engage students of different ages and learning styles, from elementary-level learners to college students. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop long-term study habits and a deeper understanding of the material. I believe every student is capable of success with the right support, and I’m committed to creating a positive, motivating learning environment where they can thrive.
