I’m Mohadeb, a New York City–based Mechanical Engineering student at Boston University, where I began my studies in the fall of 2023 and expect to graduate in May 2027. Before BU, I earned an Advanced Regents Diploma from the Bronx High School of Science in 2023, demonstrating my early commitment to rigorous STEM learning. At BU, I’ve maintained a 3.85 GPA and earned Dean’s List honors every semester, and in May 2024 I completed the Certified Peer Tutor training program—immersing myself in evidence-based instructional techniques and diagnostic assessment strategies. My own academic successes, including a 790 on the SAT Math section and 5s on both AP Calculus BC and AP Physics C, inform how I guide others through challenging material.

Since 2021, I’ve logged over 300 hours of tutoring across diverse settings, from one-on-one SAT prep sessions with 14- to 18-year-olds at the Cambridge Learning Center to small-group workshops in multivariable calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and classical mechanics at BU’s Math & Physics Learning Commons. I’ve also partnered with local learning centers in NYC to support 13- to 15-year-olds preparing for PSAT, SAT, and AP exams. In every session, I begin with diagnostic questions that reveal each student’s strengths and gaps, then co-create a personalized study plan. By framing algebraic manipulations as puzzle challenges and physics concepts as hands-on engineering scenarios, I keep students engaged while solidifying core principles. Punctuality, clear communication, custom practice sets, and simple goal-tracking sheets ensure that progress is both measurable and meaningful, whether you’re tackling college-level differential equations or sharpening your standardized-test strategies.
