I am a licensed Special Education and Science teacher based in New York City with over 10 years of classroom experience and more than 6 years of one-on-one tutoring. I hold two master’s degrees in science education and special education, along with a bachelor’s degree in music composition. I’m also a trained pianist with over 15 years of experience, which brings a creative and disciplined dimension to my teaching style.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with middle and high school students (grades 6–12) across a variety of learning environments, from general education classrooms to specialized settings for students with learning differences. I specialize in tutoring science subjects—including biology, chemistry, earth science, and ecology—and can provide targeted support for Regents exam preparation or general subject mastery.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student learns differently. I tailor my approach to meet each learner’s unique needs, combining patience, encouragement, and subject expertise to help students build confidence and reach their full potential. Whether we’re working through complex scientific concepts or developing foundational skills, my goal is always to bring out the best in each student.
