All-subject ACT and High School/College General Chemistry Tutor

Hello, I'm Shreedyuti! I'm a current undergraduate at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a 7-year program where I can complete my Bachelor's in Science and my Medical Degree. I aspire to work in Pediatrics one day, and as such, I have always enjoyed working with youth. I have several years of experience working with students in educational settings. Most recently, I worked as a Peer Mentor/Tutor for the incoming freshman class at Sophie Davis in the subjects of college-level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and I am continuing my work with Sophie Davis as a Chemistry tutor for college-level students.

As a student myself, I understand how daunting some topics can be without guidance and how scary it can be to ask for help, especially when it comes to something as important as the ACT. Bringing this knowledge to my tutoring approach, I try to make tutoring as fun and engaging as possible, while making sure to explicitly teach the material in the way that I best believe the student is able to grasp it. I make sure to give plenty of time for practice, both with me and independently, and the material/lesson is always tailored to the student's needs. I took ACT in Summer 2023 and received a 35 on the ACT. In addition to this, I received an A in General Chemistry I and II this past Spring (SP'25).

I want to help students feel confident in their understanding of the material they are currently learning while also giving them the foundation to get ahead. I welcome any and all suggestions that the student and/or parents can provide that will benefit the students as much as possible. I'm very easy to reach and give fast responses.
