I am a Doctor of Medicine candidate from New York Medical College, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology-based Neuroscience from Queens College CUNY. My academic journey has equipped me with a profound understanding of biological sciences, ensuring a solid foundation for teaching in a tutoring capacity. Beyond academia, I bring a wealth of research experience, having served as a Laboratory Researcher at both Queens College, CUNY, and Columbia University Medical Center. My research involved understanding the nervous system's control of behavior in fish model systems, as well as investigating genetic defects leading to Cerebral Cavernous Malformations, or why patients suffer from strokes. These experiences have honed my analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts—a valuable asset in any tutoring environment.

In addition to my academic and research pursuits, I have a commendable history as a Biology Tutor at Queens College Academic Support Center. In this role, I successfully tutored students in introductory and advanced Biology courses, hosting review sessions to ensure a comprehensive understanding of course material. My teaching approach involves tailoring explanations to individual learning styles and fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment.
