I have a highly personalized, holistic approach to teaching. Most students who struggle with reading and writing believe they're "just not good at it", but I've found in almost every case that my students' difficulties stem not from any lack of potential, but rather from years of incompatible teaching styles and a lack of personalized attention/feedback. I create personalized lesson plans centered around concrete, achievable goals, focusing on building confidence as well as widely applicable communication and comprehension skills.
