Julia R could not have been a better match for my son! She was prompt for each lesson, more than friendly and extremely competent in tutoring high school level Spanish. I'm confident that her lessons will bring my son's understanding of Spanish to a higher, more comprehensive level! I'm so happy to have found her, and recommend her highly!
Julia has worked great with our son. She is timely, conscientious, and dedicated to her role as a tutor. She goes beyond the commitment required to work with our son, and spends time following up with us to ensure that we are aware of the lesson content and progress made. She has been a big help preparing our son for his next year of Spanish in school.
Julia is truly an amazing person. She came to us in one day after we called her and she drove about sixty miles to get here. When she showed up she had the appropriate study materials with her. She is extremely professional and very knowledgeable on many subjects. She is also multilingual and very diversified. When she left, my daughter felt much more confident about taking her upcoming final exam. If you or your child need tutoring, Julia is the best.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Learning the Hebrew language can be very challenging, however with a good instructor, a bit of patience and lots of practice you can be on your way to reading, speaking, writing and understanding Hebrew. An entire new alphabet of consonants needs to be learned as well as a series of dots and dashes which represent the vowels. Keep in mind that Hebrew is written and read from right to left. The ability to read Hebrew is a gift that will bring you much pleasure and will also help to strengthen your ability to learn other foreign languages. I have 20 years experience teaching Hebrew with much success. Call me to schedule your lessons.
I am an experienced reading teacher. I have helped many students improve their strategies, comprehension and grades.
