I specialize in tutoring Spanish from introductory through college level. I have 15 years of experience tutoring children (as young as preschool) and adults. I have taught both Spanish individual and group classes in a variety of locations throughout NY and CT. My native language is English, however I have lived and studied in Spain and Ecuador. I am passionate about all things Spanish (language, music, dance, food, culture).

I love children and believe that every child can learn given the correct opportunity and environment.

Learning the Hebrew language can be very challenging, however with a good instructor, a bit of patience and lots of practice you can be on your way to reading, speaking, writing and understanding Hebrew. An entire new alphabet of consonants needs to be learned as well as a series of dots and dashes which represent the vowels. Keep in mind that Hebrew is written and read from right to left. The ability to read Hebrew is a gift that will bring you much pleasure and will also help to strengthen your ability to learn other foreign languages. I graduated cum laude from WCSU, where I studied, bilingual education, Spanish, advanced grammar and foreign language acquisition. At home I speak Spanish with my family. Over the past 10 years I have successfully tutored Spanish to middle, high school and college students, as well as to adults who wish to improve their career opportunities. I am passionate about communicating in Spanish. My enthusiasm is contagious and my students have fun while learning to read, write and speak in Spanish. Besides the traditional listen and repeat exercises, I use dialogues, games, songs and videos when I teach. In addition, I have provided Spanish Immersion childcare for the past 5 years to families with children age newborn to age seven. I have lived and studied in Spain, and I recently returned from an extended winter trip to Ecuador, living and traveling with my husband and his Ecuadorian family.

Excellent tutor
